my GMC is a 1978 Birchaven 23 foot

I purchased it in Nov 1998 with 61k on odometer - now have 83k
previous owner was an about to retire single gentleman - name unknown
he died shortly after retiring - GMC sat for several years before
daughter sold it to me via a RV broker
appears to have update in the air pump area - large loop of copper coil
has been added with moisture collection, etc,
Onan is 4 k with about 500 hours on meter
engine is 403 with 307 gears - 8.75x16.5 steel wheels - I have put 9.50s
on the front wheels - still have 8.75s on rear - speedometer now reads
5.5% low
current owner is:

my main use is as a mobile office for my home based business - I travel
to livestock shows and am on the road for weeks at a time
since owning it I have been as far north and west as Calgary ALB, as far
south as Uvalde TX, as far east as Buffalo NY, and as far southeast as
Nashville TN
most of my problems have been related to being parked for several years
- - if I had had time to check it over real well before hitting the road I
probably would have been trouble free but I was on the road for a 2500
mile trip within hours after bringing the GMC home from the dealer
any info on previous owner in the records?
