South East Michigan near DTW
Southeast Michigan and Northwest Ohio GMC Lunch Bunch.

It was brought to my attention that "Lunch Bunch" is typically a gathering of retirees. That simply does not apply to this group.
SO, We are looking for a new label to put on the group.
I want to discuss this next at next Saturday's meeting.

If you don't think you will make it, you can forward any suggestions to me and I will present it in your name. I must have it by Friday night.

18 November 2017 1:00 PM At:
All American Buffet
13753 Eureka Road in the Southgate Shopping Center
Southgate, MI 48195

This is a Non Member, Non Chapter, Non FMCA event.
Non Owners are also welcome.
You don't even have to own one, but we do ask that you know what a TZE is. (If you don't know, you can ask.)

If you have questions about coaches or the supporting Organizations or Businesses, this is a place and time to get the good answers right up front.
As always, we expect to have a separate table group for those not interested in mechanical issues, and progeny are not excluded.

Hope to see you there.
The next will be the December 16.

Johnny,

While I may appreciate the suggestion, that is just about exactly the front I do not want to have.....
We are hoping to get those that are young and energetic into the foal before they realize the situation.

There about a dozen young owners in striking range. I know for a fact that most do not have any idea what support and power this community has. I
have gotten a few, but there are still more. I really want to get them onboard so they can benefit from out knowledge (mistakes?).

Matt Colie,

With reference to your wish to rename the lunch get together, here are some ideas.

SEMNO GMC Network Power Lunch

SEMNO GMC Three Martini Lunch

SEMNO GMC Power Lunch

SEMNO GMC Non-Geezer Lunch

Thankfully, however, to attract people, it would be good to have programs and tours of coaches, ladies and gents. Some reason to come besides food,
which attracts folks retired like me. If you are asking about the facebook crowd, seeing some coaches which have cured some of their current problems
would be a great attraction.

It may be a way to increase the ranks of owners, too, by having Open house signs. I don't mind the young wanting to spend time with the other young.
Time will provide the sure cure for that.

:p

Carey,

While a lot of your direction is good, first problem is that the "stuff your face buffet" does not serve any alcohol at all.

We do frequently have some coaches at these, but this is Michigan and it is about to be winter up here. That means that the roads will be covered
with white stuff. Even on the warm days, it takes about a week of warm rain to wash the salt (aka fender solvent) off the roads and most of us do our
very best to keep off the white roads.

I am hoping to have a similar involvement gathering in the spring, but that requires a lot, like a free venue and cooperative weather. That last is a
tough one for Michigan.

I will list this and the others to get a reaction from those that show up next Saturday.

Thank you

Matt

The SEMNO GMC Group. Every organized meeting is called a rendezvous. The Power Squadron does the same thing with boats.
