Sadly it has come time to part with our beloved 1978 Royale, rear bath. After spending 6 years of blood, sweat, and tears redoing everything we can
get our hands on, we have decided to join the dark side and go to a larger SOB. If anyone is interested in a coach that is ready to get in and travel,
PM me and I will give you all the details. As I said this coach is a '78 but the original 403 was replaced with a 455 by the original owner. It has
Fitech fuel injection and the front end has been massaged by Alex Ferrara's magic hands. Runs and drives like a dream. All maintenance (including
wheel bearing repack) has been done in the last 1000 miles. I will post more information on the Swap Meet side when I get more time. Unfortunately I
do not know how to post pictures on the forum, but I can email you pictures if you PM me. Once again this coach is ready to travel (reliably)
anywhere.

I have updated my post on the Swap Meet site. Listing some of the upgrades and maintenance that has been done to my coach. Thanks for looking.

Bob,

I don’t think anyone would mind if you started a thread ( or added to this
one) a link to your ad. You might also enlist Bdubs help. He was very
effective at finding a new home for Recherche.

Bob,
Sorry to see you leave the GMC community and selling your coach. An SOBl can be quite an upgrade and I hope that you will be happy in the future. I met you at the Rapid City GMCMI convention and enjoyed our conversations. Best Wishes and remember you will never really leave the GMC people!

Jon, Thanks for the kind words. It's been a difficult decision to sell our GMC, especially since this community is so great. I've enjoyed the GMC for
a long time, but we have outgrown it since I acquired this affliction that compels me to buy every camping gadget I can find and haul it with me where
ever I go. (LOL)

I will continue to read the forum and remain on the blacklist as long as the community will have me. Hopefully I can cross paths with some of you
again.
Thanks Again, Bob

I am the HAPPY new owner of this beautiful GMC. I will make final payment on Tuesday. I will be staying pretty local in the Black Hills. I am so
excited SHE is a beauty. :d :d :d :d
Bod listed it and I saw the ad about two hours later and I had to join the forum to get ahold of him, I was so worried that I would not get into the
forum and never get to see her. I looked on Craigslist and FB Swaps. While waiting.

Well here I am a very excited new OWNER to this gem.

Beck,

Welcome to the group, family, cult, asylum....

Please do both yourself and the rest of us a big favor. You already have a sigfile, but add to it a name (so when you meet other owners, they will
know who you are), a bit about the coach (78 Royale 455 with Fitech) because that may change the answers you get (the 455 sure will), and a geographic
reference because the half that read this as e-mail don't get to see the header that says "Hermosa SD". Someone that may be able to provide
assistance might be in striking range. All of that matters to this community.

The thing I will tell you right up front is that you have a near forty year old vehicle carrying a house that has been though a forty year long
earthquake, and that means that regular maintenance should always be a high priority. It needs to be greased very regularly. Grease is cheaper than
parts. If you have any doubts, ask. No matter what you need to know, if you can't get an answer here, someone will tell you where to find it.

I am glad that you found your way here. This is a helping and supportive community on an amazing scale. Everyone here will do what he can to make
sure that you get to enjoy what your coach can do for you as much as we all do. So many RVs are just expensive toys, but when you find out more about
this community you will understand why even those that no longer have a TZE say with us. It is a collection of friends that is difficult for some to
grasp. You will soon realize that you just came across a few thousand new old friends....

As the only other community that I know of that is at all like this is that of the watermen of my world, I have taken to welcoming new owners here
much as anything new is welcomed there. So,

May the Good Lord bless this coach and all those that set forth within her.

Welcome Beck

Matt
