Started the installation today rather late so just got as far as getting
the front cap down. Some previous owner had used rivets in several places
(six) so those had to be drilled out first. He also riveted the ceiling
section around the front vent.......sigh.
Doesn't seem to be any signs of leaks. Will have to remember to add some
insulation to the ceiling before the cap goes back. There are several cracks
around the screw holes - any recommendation on fixing this without marking
the cap too much - don't want to have to paint if I can avoid it.
I'm installing the Winegard Model RD-4610, this is the rooftop RV
Digital Satellite System with RS-1000 antenna for TV reception. One year
