I just received a mailing from "RV Emergency Road Service - 730 Paseo
Camarillo, Camarillo, CA" advertising their services. In the literature
they state that they are the "original owners of the Good Sam Club"
(What does this really mean?)

They quote rates lower than Good Sam - $69.95/year for motorhome or
camper/truck, or trailer and tow vehicle plus one additional vehicle.

Does any one use this service, or know anything about them? If so, how
do they compare with other emergency services? Comments good or bad,
please.

It would be interesting to poll the group to see what emergency services
are being used, and the users comments, again - good or bad.

Thanks in advance for any info ....

The son of Art Rouse, founder of the company that owns Good Sam started
his own company in competition with Good Sam's Tow service.

I have used Good Sam with good results and now use Camping World (also
owned by the company that owns Good Sam) and they are also good.

With any tow service make sure they will cover older vehicles. One
company I know of won't and yet they will take your premiums but refuse
to cover you when service is req'd!

I posted the following request back in April, and to my knowledge only
got one reply, that was from Dave Greenberg. My current service is
about ready to expire, and would like to ask again for comments and
experiences. This may have been covered before, but so has many other
things, so please bear with me.

Thanks in advance.
