For those who still have the QJ carbs,and if you are in the areas where
they only sell the reformulated gas, have you put bigger jets in or have
you stayed with the original?
I travel mostly in the western US where most of the gas is reformulated.
I heard that this can causo ne to get burnt valves so I have tried
moving from a #68 jet size to a # 70 size.
Ihave found however that I am getting some blackening on the end of the
tail pipe as was mentioned by Jerry a few days ago and also my mileage
has dropped a bit too.
What have others done?
