I tried to email you,but it keeps coming back to me.
Somehow​ Google has determined that two of us can share the same email
address.
My Washington state license plate has been 'NEWTENT' for roughly 30 years.
For almost all that time 'newtent' com has been my email address. I
was surprised to see 'me' listed in the response to a post on the GMC NET,
that I had not written.
If you get any emails​ you don't recognize the sender, it might be for Me.
However, if it is 'bill' go ahead and pay it.

Thats a good trick since gmail has only been around since 2004 :)

Why do you think you are both using the same email address?

In the forum - I see a different email than you mention for Roy and in the email list, his email address is not being displayed (it might look slightly different in digest mode?).

It is a slightly odd - I either see a blank or "unknown sender", depending on how I view Roy's email message. If I look at the "raw headers" or "original" of his email - I see the same email address as in the forum (i.e. not your email).

I suspect you're seeing a weird artifact of your email client - due to the slightly odd configuration in his mailman setup and the fact that the headers are slightly malformed.

But that's only a guess!

I have some weirdness going on with Roy Keen email & Gmail. When I see an
email from Roy, Gmail says it is from 'me'. It looks fine in the forum. But
Gmail thinks differently.

I think that's because of the slightly odd headers in the email message.

But I looked at my Gmail version of his messages earlier - and they come up as "unknown sender". But if you look at "Show Original", I see his full email address.. In my email client - it's blank and I have to look at "Full Headers" to see the address.

I was checking Gmail with Firefox on OS X - it very well could appear differently on other platforms.

Either way - he has his own email account and it's his own!
