I installed the Rostra cruise control in my '76 this weekend. Installation
went well and it works great!
The part that took the most thinking about was the mounting of the bracket
to hold the cable near the carburetor. The main unit mounted easily under
the raised floor conveniently attachinkg to one of the seat pedestal
screws. The main unit was mounted with the actuator cable pointing to the
rear and then eventually running parallel to the accelerator cable on over
to the carburetor.
Took a short trip down to Qualcomm Stadium to see the Padres beat the
Marlins. It held speed well, even on a fairly steep 200' hill.
