Bob, my advise would be to leave the drip rails alone. The end pieces are
frequently sources for leaks, and can be easily removed. They contain a
rubber moulding that frequently will be deteriorated. If they are at all
usable, I use 3M 5200 and seal them back onto the coach. The drip rails are
a bitch to remove, as there are many screws holding them in place. They are
usually sealed down to the coach with a black butyl non hardening sealant,
and if they are not leaking, I leave them alone.
