Finally got back to this and installed the antenna today. I ended up moving it back a little, about 9 inches behind the front roof vent, and about 19
inches from the AC unit. The FM antenna has the spring base and I wanted to ensure the two didn't touch when on the road. I also ended up running
LMR-400 cable for the antenna which proved to be VERY difficult due to its thickness and stiffness. If I did it again I'd probably use the RG-8X like
Ken mentioned as it would be MUCH easier to run.

Ended up routing it through the holes in the beam just behind the roof vent, then through one hole in the beam in front of the roof vent (just behind
the front headliner) and followed the beam over to the wall and down (driver's side). The reason I did the driver's side is I couldn't find a good
way to feed it around the glovebox on the passenger side (above it or under?). Had to unbolt the bunk bed in order to feed through the small hole in
the wall but once I got to the hollow plastic wall by the driver's seat it was fairly easy the rest of the way as there's plenty of space to feed the
wire through and under the dash. Overall a success but learned quite a bit how the roof is constructed :) I'm thankful for the holes in the beams
for the wires.

Thanks again!!
