"This is going to sound wholly stupid ( DOB ) but after I bought
my GMC the only thing that didn't work was the middle AC unit.
I would turn it on and only the fan would come on."

When I was looking at my GMC I pulled a similar stunt. Neither
Air Conditioner would do anything but blow air. No chilling. Beat
up the RV dealer real good. Previously he had said "everything
works" (ya right like I would believe a used car salesman)

After I got it home both Air Conditioners started working. It was
spring when I was checking the coach out and I suspect that
there is a lock out that prevents the Air Conditioners from
chilling air when it is too cold outside.

Mine have a time delay on them. Turn them on, fan will blow, nothing.
After about five minutes comp. will kick in. Everythings OK.
