Just wondering... does this stuff smell offensively, i.e. stink up the
coach or is it only rodents that don't like the smell?

I only have the problem occasionally when a hitchhiker comes along and a
peanut buttered trap usually does it, but my father-in-law has a coach in
the prairies. His last coach we called the mouse-mobile.

I am using a cherper box that I bought from Costco for about $20 last
year. It is supposed to keep rodents away and so far it is working. It
simply plugs in to 110V and is on a timer to only come on in the
evenings. Prior to getting it, I had a continual problem with mice/rats
because I live on a canyon. It seems to work. I have two other vehicles
outside in the backyard and none have been invaded since I started using
it. It is said to create a high frequency noise that is guaranteed to
drive them off. Humans can hear it in the mouse/rat mode.

I also live in a canyon and used a cherper box. I placed my cherper
box in the engine compartment to keep the rodents away from the wires.
In the following spring, I noticed that the pack-rats build a nest on
top of the box and still ate my wires. Now I am back to mothballs

It is manufactured by Weitech, Inc. in Sisters, Oregon. They can be reached at
1(800) 343-2659. It is a Transonic 300 Electronic Pest Repeller. It is plenty
load and can be used effectively within 100 feet. I keep it between the motorhome
and two cars that I have under a canopy and have not had an invasion since.
Previously I had a major problem with rats in my cars. One filled up the fender
well of my old Ford Woodie with dry dog food. I also bring in the dog food at
night.
