Replacing vent hood over range

Today I made a shambles of the interior of the coach - I started gutting
the kitchen area. Tomorrow Im plan to remove the locker with the rang hood
in it. Any cautions about this process?

Also, has anybody replaced the old unit with something smaller, quieter,
and more effecient?

Henry, Pulled mine out a few weeks ago and nothing mystical about it. Just
be sure to take out all the screws and the wiring at the connectors before
applying any muscle. They should all be visible.
