Replacing fixed window glass

I have a broken fixed window, the one opposite the door.

Fortunately I have a replacement window from a donor coach complete in frame. Should I swap out the window, frame and all or remove the glass panel and just replace it?

Which is the best way?

regards
Gerry

Gerry,

I just replaced the glass in my door and my fixed window. It is extremely easy. Do not remove the frame. Just pull the rubber, pull the glass. Install new glass and replace the rubber. Get the harbor freight suction cup handles and the job is super easy. You will need to clean the mounting surface and re caulk with the proper window sealant.

Good luck and enjoy.

Gerry,

I used 3M Windo-weld Super Fast Urethane, 08609. It worked great. Prep both windows and caulk and install one window at a time. There are other brands which I am sure are equally as good, but I generally stick to 3M.

I have been through several rains with no leaks.

Good luck and take care,
