Trying to diagnose a sorta low frequency cyclical grinding noise when
underway that was exhibited during the run to Marion and back last year.
The following is based on advice from the great guys at the recent Great
Lakers chapter rally at Addison Oaks in MI last weekend.
Checked the final drive flange interface to the axles - all were tight.
Check wheel shake. Surprise surprise it was at the other front axle than
the one I was suspecting. I have vertical shake at the passenger side.
Axle nut is tight. What am I looking at here? A worn hub/knuckle? Anyone
have one for sale??? We have camping events paid for the next 3 wks and
more. Grrrrrrrrrr --
