Good afternoon all, and thank you for allowing me to join your forum. We have recently purchased a 23 foot, 1973 GMC motor home that has been gutted inside (down to the insulation on walls & ceiling). The rear windows on both sides are missing latches and are almost falling out. With this in mind I was wondering about just removing the windows and either patching (welding) the hole or replacing the entire sheet of siding. Has anyone done this or know the type and thickness of aluminum used for the exterior?
Thank you to anyone who takes the time to respond. Mac

I know Bob Dunahue has welded panels on his coach, making a wide entry door, give him a call, his number was in a recent post about a 3.21 FD. He's a fun guy to talk to anyway, it'd be worth it even if he doesn't know lol
