I need to remove holding tank due to unknown leak on driver's side. At
this point in time I've removed the recirculating toilet per maintenance
manual. I found four screws on the flange which I removed. According to
the manual there should have been six screws. The next step is to
unscrew the flange, however I cant budge it. Rather than trying to
loosen it with a punch and hammer and possibly doing damage I thought
I'd ask for suggestions on how to loosen it.I removed the access cover
for the drain pipe to find it covered with a hardened foam insulation
not allowing me to use the basin wrench to loosen the fitting. I was
about to remove the foam when I realized the pipe was loose in the tank
and not sealed (obviously the source of my leak - it only leaks when it
is full). How would this connection normally be sealed?
