I don't understand the apparent dislike of the three way fridge. The 12
volt supply is really only there to maintain the temp in the compartment
while traveling. When parked it is a simple matter of switching to
propane. The manufacturers did this to make it safe for us to travel
without having our propane turned on. Unless you have a very large bank
of batteries you won't last long running the fridge on 12 volt. Some
people have gone to a propane free system, and in these cases they are
running their generator any way unless they have a 110 supply. IMO I
think if you are replacing your refridgerator go to a 3 way. You at
least have a choice at this point. This does not include any of those
who are running their fridge off of an inverter. Darren
