"Yeah I can see the recirc gate and its operation by blower
fan, But isn't the gate/vac. pot by the battery term. post on
firewall on Lt. side of coach also part of the recirc. system?"

The vac pot furthest towards the passenger side in one
position operates a door to provide air to the passengers
floor vent.

I believe (not yet fixed on my coach) that in the other
position it provides air to the vents on the face of the
dash.

I think it would be more appropriate to refer to the function
of this pot as heater/vent

"When you switch to recirc mode there is a door
behind this opening which swings up. This creates
an opening from inside the cab area (down by
floorboards, center) which pulls air in from the cab.
This slot is about 20 inches wide but only about
5 inches gets opened."

Because of the shape of the back of the
heater box on my early 1973 the whole 20 inch wide
slot at the floor was open to the recirc door. The
portion of the opening furthest from the door may
not move air as fast or there may be some kind
of a vertical divider on yours but that is how it was
on mine.

I can send you photos if you wish

Please advise.
