Ray. As we talked. These guy's know their stuff. Doing what they say is the best Idea. Before putting it in. Get the timing as close as you can. Pre fill the oil filter. Once your ready to start it. Fill the carb float bowl with gas. Using a squeeze bottle of some sort. I put a top of a gear lube container on a qt oil container. Then a few drops down the Ventry. It must start instantly. Once started. I run it up to 2200 for about 10 mins. For our engines. I just very my speeds from 55 to 75 MPH. These guys have done my boring, and crank work for many years. My break-in period is run them up to 2500 RPM for 20 mins. Chang oil. Then off to the track for a day of 7000 RPMs. Never a failure. I know they recommend the stock oil pumps that GM put in. This is good. Their fussy on balancing. You'll notice that difference. Bob Dunahugh
