Yes there is an additional frame structure for the bogies. I think they call it an "H" frame. The only source of frame kits that I know of is Dan
Stuckey, and his main frame channel material is a half inch taller than OEM, so not sure his "H" frame would fit in an OEM main frame.

This company once had 5-1/2" and 5" square tubing in the correct thicknesses that could be split into channels and made into frames,
