Rear bogie bushings

I have to replace the bushings on the right side rear suspension . The
bushing on the front bogie is siezed. I have the new bushings and the
service manual, but would like to know it
anyone knows of any shortcuts or pitfalls to watch out for. My mechanic
and I are going
to start disassembly tomorrow night. I would also appreciate any input
as to what grease
to use when we put it back together.

Rebuilt ours several years ago, as far as grease,
I use only Dow Corning BR2-Plus Extreme Pressure grease on the pins.
its a black grease that stains anything it gets on. its got Moly-Disulfide
in it so it will stain, and its a real bear to get off.

you have to remove the boogie to change the pins, so keep track of the shims
you may have some shims in several locations between the boogie casting and the
frame.
most likely you will require an alignment when you get all back to-gether.
You may have a problem with the brake lines, this is a good time to inspect
and replace if they are in questionable condition.

Also along with the bushings, watch the thrush washers, inspect and replace
as needed. those washers control the side movement of the arms on the pins.
