Rear Battery size

Hi All,
If someone has done this, or has easy access to their coach I need to know
if two Group 27 D.C. (deep cycle) size batteries will fit in place of the
original 4D. The size listed is 12 3/4L x 6 13/16 W x 9 1/2 H. I had planned
to go with two 6 volt golf cart batteries but I have not been able to find
them at a good price, Costco doesn't carry them here. I am still searching
for a front over couch cabinet if someone has one for sale.

Mark,

Sams Club carries the golf cart batteries down here(about $45 each
IIRC). Also, I think the folks at WalMart can special order them.

I used to have a 4D and replaced it with 2 golf carts which are taller. I
suppose your 2 Gp 27s would fit but I would spend the buck and go for the
golf cart batteries. I think I paid about $90.00 for the pair at Sam's
Club. Try Walmart if you don't have Sam's in your area.

Mark,

Check with a local golf course. They generally get them in bulk buys and
save on the shipping so they sometimes can get you a good price.
