No No Nate the Hummer was a different model all together. It was a 2 cycle
motorcyle that competed with european models like the JAWA. It was actually
a copy of the German DKW and was introduced in 1948. the next higher model
the Batam was made by BSA for Harley Davidson. Hope this helps

yep the JAWA was indeed a czech machine. My friend had one in 1954 and a
very nice machine.
