ragusa exterior door handle XL install

I have a Ragusa XL exterior door handle to install. It comes with screws, but no instructions as to where to install it in relation with the door frame in order to hit the framing material and I don't want to drill holes in the wrong place.
Ragusa said they don't know and I have been looking at pictures to see if I could find one mounted, but no luck so far.

I installed a door handle on my 77 Eleganza and instructions said 4 in from door frame. Also you can feel inside outer wall by opening refrigerator panel and feeling toward door. Worked for me. Jon

Mine is a Coachman built interior and the door side is the kitchen sink.
I saw some pictures, but they show a single handle with two mounting holes that are at each end and in line with the handle

The Ragusa has three mounting points and two screws at on each mounting pad which are on both sides of the handle. I would probably hit the frame on the inboard side next to the door, but the outside ones may miss any substantial structure, guess I will have to maybe borrow and inspection camera and take a look behind the inner wall.
