QuadraJets are big suckers-
They're 700-800 cfm, however this is a function of the size of the primary
bores, theres little tricks GM used to restrict them a bit for some
combinations, like only allowing partial opening etc.
Think BIG
600 CFM is plenty on a 455 in round terms, but more is well, more!

has the lowdown on the exact figures-
I understand the Cadillac FI in 1975-1976 on the 8.2 litre is *1000* cfm!
