Inresponse to the QJ and the proper jetting. It is quite possible that
the MTBE additive will go away soon. It is and has been a poor thing
for the automobile engine and while it is supposidly cleaning the air.
It might well be cleaning the people off the face of the earth at the
same time. The California Governor will have to make a decision soon as
to the fate of the MTBE additive,. So far the damage is so bad that
many water drinking kind of wells have been closed because of the MTBE

do not take a stand on these issues whether you are in the west or not,
it will come to haunt you some time in this life on our planet earth.
Just an example. Shell gasoline has ruined two of my vehicles or I
should say resulted in costly repairs because of their additives. Shell
nor Harley Davidos cared to reply. A brand new Mercedes had to be
completely taken apart and the fuel injectors replace and other parts
withing the engine, cost 5K labor. Yes if you use this gasoline you
probably need to have it re jetted. I spent (foolishly I might add)
$500.00 to have a QJ re built and jetted. I do not use it at this time,
it did not work effeciently for me and the company is looking into WHY.
I have my old QJ on the GMC and am getting about 13.5 at this writing.
There has been a lot of things done to the engine to get this milage.
Is it buring ing valves. I certainly hope it is not. Only time will
