Hello again Tom;

Well I took it home last night, and after lubing it up real good, I
thought I would put it to a test. Since I am not going to pull a real wheel
bearing hopefully until the fall, I put a 1" x1" steel shank across the top
of the 2 "C" halves and tighten it with an extra large 1" craftsman wrench
until I could tighten no more. I would estimate the equivalent of at least
150 ft/lb.. I think at this point, any bearing would have begun to move had
I been pulling or pushing something. The end result. Your tool did fine. I
watched the joint area between the 2 "C" sections real close. No movement,
deflection, etc. So it not only looks good as an addition to my paperweight
collection(along with chuncks of compressor rotor from the F-15 engine,
another marvel of engineering) but also is apparently extremely strong.

I also re-read the instructions for the pullers use. Can I ask a
favor? I only have 2 pages of the instructions. Up to removing the old
bearing and seal. It looks like there is more. If you still have the
original e-mail could you resend it? Does anyone have it posted on there
web site (not the Toma Tool that is on Patrick's site and is completely
different).

its strong!
