Problem with bleeding brakes

I use a vacuum pump bleeder to rid the air from my lines.
It is necessary to remove the bleeder valves and seal the threads to
prevent air coming in from the threads. This is easily done with teflon
tape. Then I bleed each line at wheels with the vacuum pump bleeder
attached to the bleeder valves with a short piece of clear tubiing to
see the bubbles. Start with the longest run first.

Thanks for the input Paul.
The vacuum pump or a power bleeder is what I'm considering next.

I did learn about the Teflon in the process and used it in the last
go-around. No bubbles.

Any thought on whether the vacuum pump would suck air out even if bleed
valve not on highest point (top) of caliper? If so then at least I could
leave the calipers in place.
