I realize this may or may not be appropriate here. But, is any body
familiar with a 2 Liter Opel engine? My nephew has just pushed this
thing to 350 horsepower in Germany. He made a computer that measures
the Oxygen, exhaust temperature and some how heats the gasoline to get
this kind of power out of this little engine through the muffler system
he made. My son (the one who invented the guidance system for the X-38,
NASA Lifeboat for the Space Station) said it was actually phenomenal.
He was going about 15 mph and pushed the throttle slowly to the floor,
the rear wheels broke loose and he was going sideways and then nothing
but pure power. Question: I wonder what this would do to our 455's.
He is in China at this writing working on their environment with this
computer for their vehicles. Chuck We have invited him over here to
California.
