Hello,
My name is Angela Bevels.
I retrieved a 1976 GMD Palm Beach from my brother's home in Texas after he passed away in 2021.
I had a renovation company pick it up, tow it to Austin, and it has been there for 5 years now
.
After months of pressing them (since November '25) they have finally told me it is ready to pick-up....with one small caveat...the rear air bags are shot and they don't do that kind of work? Yes, 5 years, and now they just find this out and relay it?
Long story short, I am having it transported here Monday. I reached out to a garage that does work on these RV's, but they did not respond back last week.
I am flying out tomorrow (Sunday) to be there when it is loaded.
My immediate issue, I have no idea where to have it taken to. I obviously cannot drive it, so it cannot be parked at my home.
I am reaching out to ask for any help with who may be able to fix the airbags and take delivery of the RV on this end.
I will also need to store the RV going forward, as my neighborhood has an HOA that won't allow it to be parked here.
I read your information on the GMC help site and decided to try to make a connection, before I leave tomorrow.
Please reply if you can assist me, much thanks in advance!
