Ported fuel injection

Hi gang
Did anyone read the article in the July issue of GMC
Motorhome Marketplace by Ralph Brumbaugh.In the
article he states that he "runs a 455 with turbo
charger,port fuel injection & roller tip rockers".Has
anyone seen a setup like this?I was under the
impression from reading on the net that ported fuel
injection for the 455 was not available.I have not
seen any discussion of a turbo charger for the 455.
What about it netters is this this doable for the
average owner. Boyd

Boyd,

Both Rance Baxter and Leigh Harrison offer bolt-on port fuel injection
options. There just is no "factory" EFI system available for the 455,
so either the OEM or an aftermarket manifold must be altered for the
injectors and components from other applications must also be adapted.

Rance has a web site(www.ranceefi.com check my resources page if that
doesn't work) and their are pictures of Leigh's setup in the Marion
rally pictures at my site(look under Clubs & Rallies and follow the
links).
