The bunch of text gibberish that you see are the pictures that are
encoded. IF your mail reader cannot handle (decode) the data you may need
to enable the decoder. OR you can use a offline decoder to convert the
file back to a picture. the file I sometimes use for this is called
UUDECODE it can be found and downloaded as
UUEXE532.ZIP there may
be a later version out now, just look for UUDECODE in your search on the
net. There are also BASE64 encoder/decoders avaialble to handle other
types of files.
OR you can set your mail handler to reject any file with a filesize of
over a certain size. I, myself, have set a rule to keep any files with
filesize over 40K on the mailserver until I can get the pictures at a
less busy time...speeds up the downloads.
