>My daughetr just bought a Sony Mavica. It uses a 3.5 inch floppy and
seems like it does a great job. They run $500 to $800 depending on the
model! No cables, just insert the floppy in your PC and you are in
business.

Lanier, having just responded to the Hewlett Packard question, let me
repeat myself about the value of searching the ComputerShopper website.
Select the Digital Camera section and you'll learn more about them than you
can digest. There is even a spreadsheet available which lists all features
of cameras available so that you can compare quickly!

I purchased the Nikon coolpix 900 and I am delighted with what it can do. If
you want to see some of the pictures go to Gene Fisher's web site and my under
dinette drawer and some other pics are there. Love my camera

Hi Arch,

My daughter, Erika, will send you a photo taken by her Mavica model F71,
which is the middle range of their line.

Let me know when you recv'e it so I don't hound her unnecessarily.

Rgds,

Dave G
