Over or around the Kanc

We will be traveling to the Conway, NH area next week and then over to Lincoln. The shortest route from Conway to Lincoln is the Kancamagus. Has anyone done this in their GMC.

That's the answer I was hoping for.. We a 1973 Canyon Lands with a 455ci and original final drive. The key I guess will be slow and steady up that long incline.
