Out Door Shower

I was thinking about installing an out door hose and sprayer to shower with and hose things down outside.

I am thinking about putting the setup in the propane compartment. That way it is hidden until needed. Seems like an easy location to tie into the pressurized water as well.

Wondering if anyone has done this already and has some advice or pictures.

I haven't done it on my GMC, but I did it on my last Class A by Thor. It was really great for when our son basically rolled around in dirt and dust all day. Hosing him down outside was priceless. Same goes for the dog. They have pretty universal kits for outdoor showers if you felt like cutting a rectangular hole in your body somewhere. The fully integrated setup is pretty nice. The one I put in was about the same size as your external electrical service hatch.

been on my to-do list for many years. I personally Want it on the drivers side and is why it has not made it to top
Of my list yet.

i figured the water on ground would
Cause some mud issues and people would track it in if I had it on entry door side.

You're right about that. Driver's side is the way to go. That's where you'll find it on most RVs from the factory. Of course, that is also where normal RVs have their water hookups.

I don’t want to cut into the body, that’s why I was thinking inside of the propane tank compartment. But I am glad you guys pointed out the entry side issue.

I think I will try to work something out in the back bumper. The more I think about it I like that location better anyway. It is nice to have a group to bounce ideas off of.
