re: Cummings Yep, in Canada they are the Onan people .. However, our power drawers are mostly off catalogue these days and very expensive to pick up parts for..

My local man worked up a couple of short air filters for me that I stacked with liquid gasket material and they popped right on.. (I have to cut the bottom cap off the old filter and reuse - but could have used big washer if I dug around) .. In Canada - Ian Moffat - 902 468 6282 - I set up new air filter using his clever solution for about $8.00 CDN (which must be like less than $5.00 USD) .. Given it's a real cheap solution and certainly off warranty use - I picked up OEM Onan plugs as part of the deal to reward young Mr Moffat for his clever solution and to make it worth his time.. If you need I think I can find part numbers for filters..

Again, however, I may still be dumping power drawer entirely if I can work out low amp Air Conditioning solution.. Has anyone ever seem a propane driven Air Conditioning unit that works like propane fridge? All I should need to power is fan and to provide for de-icing on the coil..

Don't get me wrong, luv the promise of 50+ Amps - never know when I might be called upon to provide emergency lighting for local theme park or stadium seating Guess Who Concert.. but surely a bit of overkill these days given advances in inversion and solar tech.. Been reading these interesting links for a bit..

ps: It would make the digest a lot easier to read if people clipped their reply's to listserver to remove bulks of original post (all the stuff with '>'..).. We have a couple of listservers running at the company I work for and once we got our customers doing that a while ago - everybody is happier as it makes the reading a lot easier.. Also - if you remove word wrap - it doesn't break up lines oddly either..
