Larry, If you have access to a Camping World they will have most of the
parts you will need they sell tune up kits , oil filters , air filters
and even the circuit control boards for the Onan generators. I had about
the same problem with mine. The points were stuck open and my control
circuit board was bad . The board was about $190. The generator would
only stay running as long as I held the starter switch down but once I
put the new board in it ran fine. I hope this info can help you, Brad.
