Onan...points and condenser

Last Fall I purchased points and condenser for my Onan 6000. I
gave the dealer the make, model, serial number, and short of
carrying it in and placing on the counter for him to look at, he had
ALL the information.
After a heated debate on prices(did I mention I'm a Scotsman), I
left. Today after I got my generator jump started, I thought it might
be a good time to change the pts and cond.
Well guess what. The *$#&*# turkey gave me the wrong ones!
Now the question:
Has anyone discovered points and condenser from a source Other
than the dealer.
Save me from 30 days in the 'clink' when I get back to Nova
Scotia

The GMC MI Parts Interchange Index for Spring 98 lists only Onan and GMC
(cinnabar?)
