would like opinions on different types of sound and heat insulation for
the generator compartment. Is Mayo Industries, Inc still in business? If
so, what is your experience? What I just tore out of mine was old,
charred carpeting.

Contact Soundown Corp. @ 1-800-359-1036. They will send you all the
info you could ever want or need including soundproofing an engine box
and a handbook of noise control materials. AND THE INFO IS FREE. They
also send prices for the various materials. These people are godd and
knowledgeable.

Do you have to go directly to the manufacturer in Mesa, AZ. to get the
product? Their web-site is interesting as well as educational.
