Onan 4K Oil Fill Tube

Hello....

The cap / dipstick on my 4K Onan has become pretty loose.

I'm thinking about replacing its rubber stopper with a new rubber plug.

Will this new "tighter" seal cause problems elsewhere ?? Might the oil fill tube also provide crankcase venting ??

Steve,
They all get loose, but it should not effect the operation unless the
engine is worn out.
