oil sender unit

I can't seem to find the oil sending unit on my 403 I am fairly positive I am blind HA-HA I know what to look for and for some reason I can't find it
in the manual

1966 GTO{frame off restor}
Wautoma, Wi (About 35 miles west of Oshkosh, Wi)
Gene Don't Do Facebook
but Ronny does

I like your setup I want to install mach. gauge system I am old school and
ex truck driver so keeping an eye on my gauges is not a problem

The photo shows a setup which adds seven potential leak spots. Turn the 'tee' fitting slightly forward, put the switch in it, and there are only two
potential leak spots added.

When I saw that setup I felt it wasn't the best way to accomplish the desired result for the following reasons:

1) the weight of all the bits and pieces would stress the 1/8" pipe tube where it enters the engine block when the engine vibrates

2) brass fittings were used and IIRC someone reported they break

I connected a remote mechanical oil pressure gage by teeing in like the photo BUT I used stainless steel fittings

This setup was put together by John Hesliga. He's an extremely skilled guy and IIRC auto shop teacher. While I was surprised by the
way he did it he would have felt it was strong enough to handle the stresses.
