Nylon air tubing w/color

I have been lurking about for quite some time and
benefiting from all the info found here so now it is
time for me to try to add a bit to the knowledge base
here. I have seen reference on the list to air line
replacement several times but never for colored lines.
The general direction is truck air line, one color.
I located Nylon tubing that looks to be (best I can
measure) a direct replacement for the old lines. This
Nylon tubing is rated for 250 psi. 1/4" od .170 Id
.040" wall and is available in Red, Yellow, and Blue
just like the stuff on my coach. The vendor is

I bought 100' of each color @ $.26 per foot, they cut
it to order. Only catch is I don't think they sell to
the general public however anyone running a small
business should be able to get this stuff.
I will be installing this stuff on my coach however,I
do not gauarantee the applicability or safety of this
material for use on the GMC suspension as I do not
know what the original spec was for this material.

Is the tubing DOT approved. Thats the magic word for tubing on our coaches.
If its used in heavy trucks it has to be DOT approved, so thats a good test.
