I just put a Dorman grey neoprene boot (614-004) on my driver's side. I don't know if this is the model you were asking about, it has many pleats.
I posted a photo online and someone warned that they can interfere with the shock at certain angles. Anyone run into this? I have one for the other
side and an holding off putting it together until I gather more knowledge.

Not changed any boots 'cept the steering shaft ...so take what I say on that basis ....I purchased a blue silicone "universal" boot on Amazon and
trimmed it to fit the upper steering shaft. This is a very flexible boot and from what I can see of it should last a heckuva lot longer than rubber or
neoprene.

Check the size, it might fit the CV joint.
