Rick,

I hope what you say is true. I looked into "pioneer" plates just
briefly before I licensed my '75 Palm Beach with regular plates last
month. I must have skipped right past "collector series". If this is
true, then I have another reason to celebrate the millennium!

Concerning electrical drain. I read that you solved your problem with
the cassett player. However there is another item that some might want
to check if they have the Norcold ref. That is the humidity switch at
the top right of the ref. If it is on. It is on. no matter if your
off, the switch will drain a batter over a period of time.

The headers from SLC is a good bet. Unfortunately the coating that
Thornley puts on the headders at the plant is not removable with sand
blasting or any thing else I have been told si save your money and get
them from SLC. SLC will get the ceramic on them for you at the same
cost as several of the GMC suppliers. Mine are the regular ceramic
coared in and out. They have another coating that is heavier and more
costly in Ceramic but it is done in Okla. Chuck
