There is growing tension at the house of Grady regarding our upcoming trip.
Part of that comes from the fact that I'm traveling with to 17 year olds
(and their mother).

With two highschoolers, I need to go heavy on the shopping opportunities and
lighter on the industrial tours. Our interests, you see, aren't a perfect
match. Why anyone would prefer the mall to a tour of a pickle factory is
beyond me, but then...

We were originally thinking Gatlinburg, but we "did that scene, and it is so
last year." I offered Graceland as my compromise. I was even thinking of
growing sideburns and snackin' on fried PB and 'nanna samwiches while
drivin' the General.

Anyway, hit me off list if you've got any genius ideas on a trip with some
southern exposure. I need to fit it in 4~5 days from northern Indiana.

Is this to far how about Branson Mo. or the Huge mall in Minn.

If Charlotte's not too far, they've just opened a new mall north of town
on I-85 called "Concord Mills". It's a huge thing built with a central
circular hall that's a one mile loop. Best part is, there's a Bass Pro
Shops Outdoor World as an anchor tenant(great place for dad to bide the
time). The ride through the NC mountains should be gorgeous about now.
A stop on the way at the Biltmore house(more elegant than an industrial
tour) near Asheville would also be called for.

HTH,
Patrick

A BIIIIGGGG second for the Biltmore House. Something for all.
Also second the remark re. what could be done BEFORE the income tax and IRS
to "soak the rich." Write me off-list if you want to help rid us of the
damn things. (Sorry, Patrick. The devil made me do it. You gonna make it
to Norcross this week, dude?)
