We bought our Kingsley in March and I have been lurking since. Thought I'd say hi and thanks for all the info I've gleaned so far.

The drive home after the purchase was a bit more of an adventure than I had bargained for, but once we ironed out a few things motorhome life has been
much better. Just got back from our second trip and the GMC is growing on the family fast!

Tom,

Welcome to the group, family, cult, asylum...

First, to both yourself and all of us a big favor, please fill out your sigfile. You do have a good start, but half of those on this board read it as
e-mail and won't see the Huntington Beach in the header. That, a real name (yes, we use real names here) and the coach specifics you have and the
geographic will help us to help you enjoy your coach.

I am glad to hear your first excursion went well. These girls are all 40 years old. They needed maintenance when they were young and they still need
it.
If you do not have a good grease gun, go get one. Our current recommended grease is Valvoline SynPower.
Remember, Grease is cheaper than metal - always.

You will soon discover (if you have not already) that your GMC is more than just a big toy, it will make you a part of an amazing community. This
community is going to do all it can to make sure that you get to enjoy both your coach and the freedom it brings you as much as we all do. These are
very supportive and helping people. The only others that I know of are those of the watermen of my world. For that reason, I have taken to welcoming
new owners here much as a new owner or vessel is welcomed there. So,

May the Good Lord bless this coach and all those that set forth within her.

Matt

Tom -

Welcome to the cult !!!

You know about the Pacific Cruisers - yes ?? And their rally in Ramona the weekend of 6/23/24 - yes ??

And once again - the world wide web finds two neighbors... I'm right down the road from you in Newport Beach. Let's get our coaches together
sometime.

Welcome to one of the most supportive groups ever. Join a club. Pacific Cruisers are in So. Cal. Get all the documentation as soon as possible. As another member suggested, get a good grease gun, use it! Unless you are extremely lucky, the local people who work on all of your other vehicles don't know anything about your coach. First thing I learned was "If I didn't lube it it hasn't been lubed in a long while".

Use your coach! go somewhere every month.

If you make it up to the other 'surf city', give a call. Have contacts at State Parks, and very nice flat driveway for overnighters.

Thanks Everyone for the Welcome

I've added some more info to my signature. Let me know if I should add any other details. Strange thing though, I had to put Huntington Beach in
lower case letters. Whenever I used a capital H and hit update it would get changed to Hubbel.

I'm even on the south side of HB so we are really close. We will have to get together.

I know we joined GMC Western States and intend to join Pacific Cruisers. Unfortunately we have conflicts for the Ramona trip. Hopefully we can make
the next one.

Off to see if I can get a couple pics posted.
