Hi fellow GMC fans, I'm looking for a set of 6 windows for my 1973 26' RV. I'm willing to pay a good price for a nice set. Please let me know if you have a set or know of anyone that might have a set they are willing to sell.

Thanks, Rick

Exactly which windows are you looking for? Front?
Sides? Which sides? What model coach do you have There were several different size windows used based on what model you have. 1973 26 foot is a good start but we need model information.
Finally , Where are you located?

Hello Ken,
I'm looking for all 6 windows for the living areas. Not the cab windows or rear window. And yes, I have a 1973 26' Canyonlands model with the rear dinette and side wet bath. And finally, I'm located in Los Angeles, CA. Do you happen to have replacement windows???

The windows that I have are not in great shape and since I'm restoring the RV, I'd like to have everything as new and workable as possible.

I definitely do not have anything new. I do have a a set of windows that were removed from a 1975 coach. They were removed and boxed by a now deceased friend about 10 years ago when he replaced them with CR Lawrence windows. The big problem is they are in the rafters of my hangar 15 feet in the air and I can not get to them at the moment because of a big load of stuff sitting on the floor below them that I probably can not move until Spring. So keep in mind that they are here but but not available until Spring.

You might call Jim K at Applied GMC. He use to sell new CR Lawrence windows a few yeas back. I use to be able to order CR Lawrence windows but my source is no longer available.

I am located in NW Indiana near Chicago.

Thanks Ken, I'll check back if I can't find a better option. All the best

The thing I like about the original windows is the cross ventilation they afford when open. The newer style windows that have a smaller opening at the bottom of the window are not as ventilation friendly. When we arrive at a campsite and the weather is nice, we open the original windows and enjoy a lot of air moving through the coach. Just love it!!. It won't cost that much to replace the sliders and seals and try it that way. Then if you still don't like the windows.....replace the with the newer style. JWIT

The windows are not hard to rebuild. the hard part is getting the screws that hold the frames together out. Just make Shure that you seal the slugs when you reassemble the frames.
