I finally got paint on the rear cap, its not perfect but looks way better. I have a run. But that will buff out.
Im using Old 55 paint from fleet farm for the blue It sprayed well, my neighbor used it on a 46 plymouth and it holds up well outside. Wish me luck!
Also upgraded the tail lights.

Is this basically Rustoleum paint? Just an oil based tractor and implement paint?

I like it, good idea.

Did you use any primer?

Did you use any hardener in the paint?

Not rustoleum, It's better paint than that I think.
After I did all the body work I used an epoxy primer, then 3 coats sandable primer, sanded with 600 and 4 coats of color. I did use hardener, I'd never ever paint anything without it.
I also bought a gallon and ran it through my HVLP gun with reducer.

Painted it outside.
