Time to get the new Ragusa transmission pan on (had it for 6 months). How
many use just the sealant provided by Caspro around top edge, how many use
only gasket that comes with filter. And have any of you found it necessary
to dress the edges of pan up a bit with emery paper etc. I find ours has
many cutting swirls on sealing edges and some rough edges right on the
inside, was wondering if fluid would have a tendancy to syphon up and out?
Hope you understand what I am trying to say.

Hi Marlene,

I used just the sealant that came with the Pan no leaks yet (from Pan
anyway) I used emery paper mostly on the inside of pan and lightly on the
sealing area than washed out and dried. I had the light swirl marks also but
no leak problem so far.
